    Hot competition on a cold February Saturday! Ice bocce is a fun combination of bowling, bocce ball and shuffleboard. Lanes are plowed right on the ice of beautiful Girl Lake near Patrick's, so food, beverage and warmth are right nearby! A day of fun for the hardy — and not-so-hardy! Great spectator sport, too! Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th places, plus best team costume and best team name!

    Where else can you have this much fun for $3? An afternoon of family entertainment each Wednesday, 1-3:30 p.m. in the official "Turtle Race Capital of the World." Along with Turtle Races there are games, dance contests, hula-hoop contests, lots of food and fun for kids and adults! A Longville tradition for more than 40 years!

    Celebrate winter (or the coming end of it) with a spectacular fireworks display over Girl Lake. Shake off your cabin fever and light up late winter with this free fireworks display, just outside Patrick's (for food and warmth) in downtown Longville. Starting at dusk (around 7 p.m.)
