The main locations for Oktoberfest in 2017 are Historic Downtown, Best Western Plus, Morgan Creek Vineyards and Schell’s Brewery.

Oktoberfest is a joint festival of the New Ulm Best Western Plus, the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce, Morgan Creek Vineyards, and Schell's Brewery. The Best Western Plus' event features musical entertainment, including New Ulm's Concord Singers and a variety of bands, German goods for sale, and plenty of food and drink. Downtown will feature both German old-time music and contemporary popular bands both Saturdays, with plenty of food and drink available. Morgan Creek Vineyards hosts the ever-popular Cambria Crush Grape Stomp Festival the first Saturday, and Schell's Brewery will have music, food and drink the second Saturday.

Voted Best Oktoberfest in MN by WCCO (2014), and ranked among the Best Oktoberfest Celebrations in the nation by Fodor's Travel (2014), USA TODAY (2015), Tripping.com (2015), Fox News (2016), and Huffington Post (2016).
