    Join us to celebrate Independence Day on Tuesday, July 4th. There is no better place to be than Crane Lake! Our world famous parade is always on the 4th - it starts at 7:00 p.m. and goes down the main street of Crane Lake (Gold Coast Road). Come at 6:30 for line up and if you want a good spot!     Snowmobile Racing at its Best! This shot was taken in 2016 when hundreds of spectators got to witness an amazing speed of 178.2 miles per hour on this 1,000 feet of shaved ice. On March 4th, 2017, the top speed was 177.4 mph. This is a great event for the whole family! Bring your machines and see just how fast they can go. Racing lasts from 10-4 pm out on the ice with over 500 runs to watch. Trophies in all classes, food and drink specials... just a great day to enjoy outdoor winter Crane Lake energy.     Located at the Crane Lake Chapel on Handberg Road. Come check out the delicious homemade treats for sale baked with love by local folks. Also, there will be tons of great (cheap!) books to browse.

    This fun event includes crafts for sale, garage sale and white elephant items, books, baked goods, & a delicious lunch menu. Come hungry!

    Labor Day Weekend "Kicks Off" with a Friday night Fish Fry at Voyagaire Lodge.
    Pick up a map at Anderson Canoe Outfitters and complete the Trading Post Run enjoying end-of-season discounts and sidewalk sales at area businesses.
    Saturday events include a pancake breakfast at the Chapel, an afternoon guided hike starting at Handbergs Marina, Ziplining at Pine Point Lodge, and an evening dance at Voyagaire Lodge, 9 pm-midnight.
    Sunday morning is a weekend highlight - the 4th annual Crane Lake 5K Walk/Run. Be at Nelson's Resort to register between 8-8:30 am and the Race starts promptly at 9. Preregister by August 20th please for the guarantee of a t-shirt. (Registration forms are available at area businesses, cost is $25/adults and $20/kids 12 and under) In 2016, approximately 90 people participated in this Fun Run! And many of them enjoyed the popular Bloody Mary Bar available afterwards. Please call Brenda at 993-2295 if you have questions.
    Sunday afternoon the Trading Post Run wraps up with another Ice Cream Social at Handbergs Marina where prizes are awarded. And watch for an old-time Car Show going on Monday afternoon in the front lawn at Voyagaire Lodge.
