    Come and celebrate Bean Hole Days in Pequot Lakes July 10th and 11th, 2018! The huge cast iron kettles of beans are buried on July 10th so they can cook overnight and be served free of charge on July 11th at noon.

    It's time to dig out Thor, Big Bertha, Ole, Sven, Lena and Baby Olga for the Pequot Lakes Bean Hole Days celebration July 11th. It's a time for thousands to gather as they share a free lunch of baked beans, a dinner roll, and a beverage. The fun begins with the Paddle Hunt - your first clue will be released at 9 a.m. July 10th On Tuesday night, the baked beans are buried in the ground and on Wednesday, the celebration culminates with the raising of the beans, a Queen and King Bean Coronation, an arts and crafts fair, food market, children's games, and of course, lunch!

    The Brainerd Lakes Chamber of Commerce and Hubbard Radio are partnering once again to bring you one of the region's largest trade shows with everything you want, all in one place.

    On Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14, the doors to Brainerd's Essentia Health Sports Center will open to over 150 local business exhibitors. This exciting 2-day event, formerly known as the Brainerd Lakes Marketplace and Hubbard Radio's Outdoor Show, welcomes over 4,000 visitors each year.

    The entry fee is only $3 per adult; those 17 and younger can attend for free. Along with learning more about area businesses, all visitors get the chance to have their Lakes Proud card punched by the exhibitors and entered for prizes. See you there!

    Join the 21st annual community-wide effort to restore the Whitefish Area's Walleye population.
    Established in memory of Grandpa Boots Buthman, this Crosslake tradition offers events for all ages and abilities. Run, walk or dash for the fun and for the fish!

    Looking for a bigger challenge? Grandpa’s Run for the Walleye also features a certified 10K course!

    Participants will have the option of selecting either a short-sleeve or long-sleeve shirt! This option is only available to those who pre-register.

    The run provides all participants with professional chip timing and results on a certified race course.

    This tradition started out more than twenty-five years ago as a simple gathering of twelve or less owners/skippers who share a love for these antique and classic boats. Over the years this gathering of boat lovers has grown to become a special community event in this the little Minnesota town of Crosslake. These days more than 50 antique boats with values as high as $1 million participate in our annual show. Some of the countries most affluent wood boat collectors make their homes here in the lakes area and bring out some amazing boats every year.
