North Metro

subregion_Metro.jpgThe communities just north of Minneapolis offer numerous places to stay close to city sights and a variety of recreation. There are a number of exceptional golf courses, led by the legendary Edinburgh USA. Families are drawn to the water parks in Brooklyn Park and Shoreview, plus the unique wave pool at Bunker Hills Regional Park, one of several parks and nature centers in the area. The National Sports Center in Blaine is known for its soccer fields and skating rinks.

Shopping opportunities include Rosedale Center and Har Mar Mall in Roseville, The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes in Maple Grove, and Anoka’s Main Street, also home to the Lyric Arts Main Street Stage.
