About

Railroad Spike Knife Making 04

Have you ever wanted to make a railroad spike knife? Here is your chance! We will forge out, shape, and taper the spike into a knife then twist the handle to make it more comfortable. The knife needs to cool, so if needed, time will be available Sunday, 1:00-4:00 pm, to grind & sharpen the knife. We will temper and heat treat the knife.
Bring a bag lunch & closed lid bottle of water. Closed toe shoes, long pants and sleeves, cotton clothing only (no synthetics). Leather aprons are best but optional. This class will be held indoors.
* No refunds, materials included.
