Come learn about Dakota history from site staff and enjoy a performance by Native American comedy group The 1491s.
Through a historic recreation of Lower Sioux Agency-era living, staff will provide background on the Dakota people's sophisticated interaction with the prairie and deep interrelationship involving nature, sacredness, life, community, and family. This will include a traditional Dakota village site and historic activities, such as gardening and corn husk doll-making.
Included with $4-6 site admission/MNHS members free.
