From a simple cup of coffee with a scone to a glass of wine and gourmet fare, we have all the dining options covered at the St. James Hotel.

Red Wing residents and visitors have several options to choose from:

    - The Veranda: Will be closing on December 2, 2019 for renovation. The new restaurant will re-opened on Mother's day.

    - The Port:
During the Veranda renovation, the Port restaurant will serve Breakfast and Lunch 7 days a week. It will be opened for dinner Tuesday through Saturday.

Featuring creative culinary choices, an award winning wine list and classic chops, this restaurant caps off the perfect day. A favorite entree is a Minnesota Classic - Hazelnut Crusted Walleye with Wild Rice, Cranberries, Brussel Sprouts served with a Pickled Creme Fraiche. Add a glass of the Pinot Grigio, Somboli from Torento, Italy and you have a perfect evening.

    - Jimmy's
Sip handcrafted ale at the mahogany bar or enjoy a light dinner beside the crackling’ fire. Jimmy's Pub is your getaway from life's hectic pace. The beautiful one-piece bar is more than 100 years old and was rescued from a Milwaukee bar. In order to get it into Jimmy's, workers had to cut a hole in the roof of the hotel and drop it down. The cozy fireplace is about a century old and from Germany's Bavarian Forest. Its mantle pieces are even older. The boar above the doorway is also from Germany. It is a European symbol for beer and food from a time when languages weren't yet established. Enjoy classic Pub fare in a British-style setting and every Friday night throughout the year, Jimmy's Pub offers free live entertainment.

    - Clara's Gift and Coffee
Start the day with coffee or grab a quick bite to go. Clara's features BLUECAF Coffee from Pepin, Wisconsin. BLUECAF Coffee Roasters is just blocks from Lake Pepin nestled between Highway 35, the "Great River Road" and the high bluffs of the Mississippi, and are excited for this local partnership.
