There are Trailheads in each of the cities - St. Joseph, Avon, Albany, Holdingford, Freeport, Melrose, Sauk Centre, West Union & Osakis. I-94 runs parrallel to the St. Joseph to Osakis portion of the trail.

62 mile long paved rail trail through forests, by lakes and through small town America. Open to bicycles, rollerblades, snowmobiles without studs and hikers. Lots of opportunities to eat ice cream
