Very familiar with this area. Highly recommend you purchase a Forest map at the USDA Ranger Station before any exploration. The forest is outstanding and very worthy of a trip for a day, or a month...

We stopped in and inquired about how to use our 23 foot RV trailer in the forest lands. They were very helpful and nice to boot.
