About

The Minnesota Vikings are a professional American football team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Vikings joined the National Football League (NFL) as an expansion team in 1960, and first took the field for the 1961 season. The team competes in the National Football Conference (NFC) North division. The Vikings play their home games at U.S. Bank Stadium, which is located in downtown Minneapolis. In addition to Vikings games, U.S. Bank Stadium has played host to the Summer X Games, 2019 NCAA Men’s Final Four, Super Bowl LII, and numerous concerts, parade shows, and community events.

The Minnesota Vikings’ team headquarters and practice facility is located in Eagan, MN at Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center. The facility has a total of five practice fields, including an indoor one, which enables the players to practice all year long, even during inclement weather.
