- The entrance and headquarters are located 5 miles South of McGregor on MN State Hwy 65 on the West side of the highway.
Other Date Information
- Year round, except auto tour which closes after the first significant snowfall. The Refuge is open sunrise to sunset. The Visitor Center and Headquarters is generally open M-F 8:00 am-4:00 pm except for federal holidays and occasionally lack of staff.
