Local merchants grill over 10,000 all-beef hot dogs that are distributed free to participants. In its 50th year, the event continues to grow with wonderful things to do for the whole family. In its second year, the Wienerman Triathlon pits four person teams competing against eachother in a hot dog eating, swimming, biking and running race. There are also demonstrations, entertainment, "wiener dog beauty pageant" and "wiener dog races".
