Join us for an evening celebrating the art of Sam Zimmerman, an Ojibwe artist (Grand Portage direct descendent) whose vibrant works reflect the natural beauty of Minnesota, Ojibwe culture, and the spirit of the North Shore of Gitchi Gami (Lake Superior).

Sam has spent the past year as Artist in Residence at Tettegouche State Park, creating pieces inspired by this rugged and sacred landscape. This is a chance to meet the artist, explore his work, and learn about the stories and traditions that shape his art. Light refreshments will be served. All are welcome!

Sam’s art will be on display in the visitor center throughout the month of August.
