Black Morel Hootenanny – A Celebration of Wild Morels, Food, & Community!
Join us in Grand Rapids, MN, May 16-18, 2025, for a weekend of foraging, food, music, and morel madness! The Black Morel Hootenanny is an immersive event bringing together mushroom lovers, chefs, outdoor enthusiasts, and the local community to celebrate the legendary spring morel season in northern Minnesota.
The Morel Experience – Join guided forays led by expert foragers in pre-scouted locations, with shuttle transportation provided. Whether you're a seasoned hunter or a curious beginner, you'll gain insider tips on finding morels in the wild.
Live Music & Morel Feast – Kick off the weekend at Rapids Brewing, where you’ll enjoy wood-fired morel pizzas, creative small plates, and craft drinks while soaking in great company and live performances.
