Join the Blooming Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce and the 51st Old-Fashioned 4th of July at our annual celebration where there are a variety of things to do and experience. This year we have 13 food vendors including HammerQ, Reubens Things Tips & Tails, Ole & Lena's, Tom Thumb Donuts & more. We also have free activities for the kids including a balloon artist, face painter on July 3rd. Kids Pedal Tractor Pull with registration at 4:30pm South of the Blooming Prairie Elementary School. Live Music in the Large Gazebo with the new community band. Live Entertainment in the Beer Garden with Bryce Leppert from 5:30pm - 8:30pm and so much more. Join us downtown on Main Street in front of the BP Tavern & Offsale for our Street Dance with Highway 30 Band out of Hayfield, MN. $5 Cover Charge, must be 21+ to attend.
Join us on the 4th of July for the BP Lions Club Breakfast at Prairie Manor Care Center, Fire Department Open House at the fire department (City Center), Red, White & Foam for the kids at City Park / Central Park at 11:30am - 1:30pm. We will have a Dunk Tank ran by the United Way of Steele County on both days. Live Music in the Large Gazebo from 10am - Noon on July 4th. Parade at 2:30pm. Parade Route streets are closed starting at noon on July 4th. Please have all vehicles moved off of the parade route or you will be subject to towing. Live Music in the Beer Garden after the parade. Food concessions will be open from 10am - 9pm. Fireworks at 10pm on July 4th at Victory Field. Rain Date would be July 5th at Victory Field. Check out our website for more in depth info.
