Winter-Themed “Marshmallow” Restaurant menu items, Window Art Throughout Downtown, Ice Sculptures (Saturday-Sunday)

FRIDAY, JANUARY 24th

SATURDAY, JANUARY 25th

  • 8am- 2pm Curling demonstration + bonspiel by North Star Curling Club- link opens in new tab. at Lake George (All skill levels welcome) – come try it out!
  • 11am – 4pm Winter merchant market – Register a vendor booth (MAP COMING SOON)- link opens in new tab.
  • 11am-4pm Llamas – come and take selfies, pet, and hang out with these adorable llamas! Located on the corner of 10th ave and W Saint Germain in front of Gallagher Insurance.
  • 2pm Paramount afternoon family movie “Happy Feet” (2006 Rated PG) – FREE to attend, first come on seating.
  • Meet and Greet your favorite mascot at Paramount Center for the Arts lobby 4pm-5pm
  • 2pm Ice sculpting demonstration by MN ICE located out front of Miley’s Menswear 824 W Saint Germain Street
  • Downtown fitness challenge located at Aslan Health $7 biometric Screenings, Respect Fight Club workout, Hybrid Form Community Workout + Flat Iron Nutrition “Hygge Workout”
  • 6:30 pm Winter Lights Parade – Parade route: West Saint Germain Street (between 9th and 5th ave) Safety Sponsor and Parade Marshal: Design Electric Register a parade float- link opens in new tab.
  • Approx 8pm: Fireworks at Lake George following the parade presented by BCI Construction inc. Firework viewing is recommended at Lake George/Eastman Park for best views, additional locations include: Top level of Downtown parking ramps + Lady Slipper Lot. Seating is not provided, please bring your own. PLEASE NOTE: Lake George ice skating and curling will be closed starting at 2pm on Saturday to get ready for the fireworks

SUNDAY, JANUARY 26th

  • Brunch Specials
  • Skating at Lake George
  • Game Day – Business Hosted Tournaments and games! Games include: Olde Brick House (Putt Putt 11-4pm), The Rock Shop (Trivia 11-3pm), Beaver Island Brewery (Assorted games and live music 1pm-5pm), Arroy Thai + Filipino Restaurant (Phase 10), Bad Cat Digital (Puck ‘Em up – local inventor, 11am-2pm), Bella Vita Salt Caves, Iron Street Distillery, Jules’ Bistro, Courtyard by Marriott, The Pickled Loon (Karaoke)
