Chocolate + Wine Tasting After feasting your eyes on the film LLUC, A PASTRY CHRONICLE, Cine Latino will host a chocolate & wine tasting because, trust us, you’re going to be craving both! Featuring chocolates from B'beri Desserts, Inkakaw, Tie-dye Chocolates, and Cacao Ítaca, this event requires a special ticket bundled with the screening.

ABOUT THE FILM

For the film lovers, and especially the chocolate lovers, this documentary takes us into the incredible world of the great pastry chefs competing in the World Chocolate Masters. The journey follows Lluc Crusellas, a twenty-six-year-old pastry chef on the greatest challenge of his career: entering the culinary Olympus with a chocolate masterpiece never tried before.

Director Jordi Torra's first documentary feature brings more than 20 years of experience photographing pastry and haute cuisine to offers a thrilling and delicious chronicle of the elaborate design, the months of planning, preparation, testing, and setbacks leading up to the day of the grand competition. The best pastry chefs in the world won't easily let a young man enter into their realm, but Lluc, with his daring and extraordinary creativity, and skills may well be the first one.
