Now in its 6th season at Canterbury Park, winter horse racing returns with a unique twist. This thrilling event consists of, horses and riders in stock saddles race down the snowy track, pulling skiers through a challenging course of gates, obstacles, and jumps. Over 100 teams from across the country will compete over two days, racing against the clock to secure a spot in the finals.
Also featuring a popular freestyle show, where skiers and snowboarders, pulled by horse, launch off a 15-foot ramp to perform jaw-dropping tricks over a 20-foot gap. Competitors, from cowboys and cowgirls, to weekend thrill-seekers, compete for cash, prizes, and glory. Enjoy the winter wonderland that is Horse Skijoring, with bonfires, hot coco, and activities for all!
