About
Recommended for all ages
Meet some of your weird cousins of the non-animal kind, and explore the surprising relationships that plants have forged with other plants, fungi, insects, and more!
Get crafty with carnivorous plants when you make your own fly-catching pitcher plant ball and cup game. Get curious when you view a growth chamber to examine close up how mushrooms really live, and with whom. You can even get lost in the world of lichen – a relationship between fungi and plants – when you build a lichen model or examine lichen’s many forms under the microscope.
Be sure to stop by the temporary exhibition Curious Allies, and find your own curious allies around the Bell in a Funky Friends and Frenemies Seek and Find!
This is an in-person event at the Bell Museum and is included in the cost of regular admission.
