For two nights only (October 11 and 12, 2024) from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Glensheen will offer guided, 45-minute tours of the mansion lit by guides carrying lanterns. All tour tickets include a tour, access to the grounds, free s’mores (while supplies last), and a souvenir Glensheen flashlight distributed at the end of the tour.

Guided only by the soft glow of lanterns, guests will embark on a family-friendly journey through the historic estate, revealing artifacts, artwork, and more in a uniquely beautiful atmosphere. Whether you’re intrigued by history or captivated by the beauty of fall nights by a bonfire, this intimate after-dark experience offers a new perspective on one of Duluth’s most iconic landmarks.

Historic Interpreters will lead groups to explore select spaces in the Mansion. This tour is well suited for guests who have previously experienced the Classic or Full Mansion daytime tours. Time slots are available to select online. Guests are strongly encouraged to pre-purchase tickets in advance online as space is limited. This tour will take place rain or shine.

Please note that tickets are required for this event. If all tours are sold out, grounds admission will be available to purchase for guests to walk the grounds, enjoy the lakeside campfires, and relax outdoors!
