Two duos, two styles, one great evening of music.

(8pm) From Minneapolis – LaPlant Road is Emily LaPlant and Liz Ashworth, two friends who found life in the music of LaPlant Rd in their hometown of Grand Rapids, MN. Their blend of jazz-induced bluegrass is highly infectious, and when they take off, they do so at dizzying speed with impressive precision.

(7pm) From the Lakes Area – making their official debut is Everybird, the duo of Holly Shaw (harp) and Christian McShane (guitar and cello). Their music is a dreamy combination of atmospheric, classical, experimental, improvisational, folk, and rock. What does that sound like? Come to the show and see for yourself!
