Lyric Center for the Arts

The popular gathering of sipping a beverage (be it wine, beer or tea) while painting a simple image has finally come to The Lyric Center for Arts!

Thursday, October 26th from 7-9, join local artist Sandra Markovich for a fun evening of gouache style (thicker watercolor) painting. For $25 (advance registration required) participants can choose between a dragonfly or a skull. All painting supplies will be provided and beverages will be available to purchase. Any level of experience is welcome as this is an evening to relax and have some much deserved fun.

Sandra is a retired steelworker. She worked in the mining industry for 41 years. Painting and Art History has always been her first love. When she was young she attended Layton School of Art in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and also took classes at Marquette University. She lives in beautiful downtown Midway (Virginia) with her spoiled English Cocker Bogie. Each day is a gift and it is wonderful to be Involved in the arts here in Virginia.
