About

Founded by a book lover, Bee, (@bees.glorious.reads on Instagram) has a passion for all things bookish. The desire to support indie authors and traditional authors runs deep in her core. With a background of ten years in the events industry, her goal is to host a fun, inclusive, diverse, unique, and exciting Bookish Fest for authors and readers. Bee is based out of Minnesota and wants to bring a fun, exciting, and unique bookish event to the Midwest.

She currently works with an avid team of other book lovers with various backgrounds that are assisting her in putting all of this together. Some are local and some are from other states. They help with the backbone of the event and the little bits and pieces of the event. Midwest Bookish Fest is entirely ran by book lovers! We’re fans of all things bookish, from indie authors to traditional authors ranging in every genre.

We’re hoping to be more than just a signing event. We want our attendees to have multiple options, between panels on various topics, a Masquerade or a Tea Party, and workshops to learn from our attending authors and vendors themselves. Whether they’re fun workshops or educational workshops, we hope every attendee can find something to do and enjoy!
