2025 Miles 4 Mentors Free Fun Run Series
For ages Pre-K to 5th Grade
No prior running experience needed.
Come, Run, Have Fun!

The 2025 Miles 4 Mentors Fun Run Series includes 4 FREE Fun Run events held each summer season in the Willmar, MN area. Children are invited to run with their friends and family on our pre-set courses throughout the city. There is more to our Fun Runs than just running. Each event also offers fun activities, mentoring opportunities, and camaraderie. Runners in grades K-5 will also be provided with a t-shirt, medal, and other great swag depending on the event. Each event coincides with a fun community activity, allowing families to take part after the run.

Thursday, June 19th - Willmar Fests Kids Fun Run
Check-in starts at 4:45pm at Royal Cutz Barber Shop at 227 Litchfield Ave SW in downtown Willmar.
The Run will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Runners in grades K-5 who register by May 25th will receive a free t-shirt at the Willmar Fests event.
Children 4 and under must be accompanied by an adult during the event. Only children aged 4-11 years old will receive medals.

Tuesday, July 15th - Willmar Rotary Rockin' Robbins Run #1
Check-in starts at 4:30 p.m. at the Guri Endresen Shelter at Robbins Island
The Run will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Runners in grades K-5 who register by May 25th will receive a free medal at the Willmar Rotary Rock'n Robbins Run #1.
Children 4 and under must be accompanied by an adult during the event. Only children aged 4-11 years old will receive medals.

Tuesday, August 5th - Willmar Rotary Rockin' Robbins Run #2
Check-in starts at 4:30 p.m. at the Guri Endresen Shelter at Robbins Island
The Run will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Runners in grades K-5 who register by May 25th will receive a free water bottle at the Willmar Rotary Rock’n Robbins Run #2.
Children 4 and under must be accompanied by an adult during the event. Only children aged 4-11 years old will receive medals.

Saturday, August 30th - Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center 1 Mile Trail Run
Check-in starts at 10:00 a.m. at the Red Rustic Barn at Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center.
The Run will begin at 11:00 a.m.
Runners in grades K-5 who register by May 25th will receive a free one-time handmade wood medal at the Prairie Woods Trail Run.
Children 4 and under must be accompanied by an adult during the event. Only children aged 4-11 years old will receive medals.
