About
This 23rd year of Rochester Dance Company's production, The Nutcracker will feature over 80 dancers ages 5 to 18 from studios throughout Rochester and the surrounding area, as well as professional guest artists.
Come experience the magic of Clara and her friends on Christmas Eve and meet the colorful characters she encounters on her dreamy adventure. Children will love the naughty mice, the toy soldiers and Clara's courage in their thrilling battle scene. Adults will appreciate the classic and timeless music of Tchaikovsky.
Rochester Dance Company's production of The Nutcracker features lavish, professionally designed costumes, a hand-painted set and highly detailed props, including a Christmas tree that appears to grow by magic.
