About
Are you interested in learning how to throw pottery on the wheel?? Or are you looking for some hands on learning/refining of your skills with some extra help from Frances? Well look no further! We have got you covered at Great River Arts in Little Falls!
We have a studio with some beautiful Brent wheels, clay, batts, tools, SPONGES, plastic bags, glazes, brushes and a kiln (fired monthly).
Throwing 101 is offered monthly, on the first Saturday of the month from 10am-12pm. In each class we will go over some of the basics of clay, the 4 main steps of throwing, as well as tips and tricks along the way. Each participant will be given four 2# balls of clay. There is a class limit of 6 people - pre registration is required. Ages 8 and up are welcome to join.
There is no "trimming" portion of the class. A glazing class (1 hour) will be held after bisque firing.
