Whether you’re bringing your own boat, or booking a charter or ice fishing trip with us, we are here to make your dream vacation become a reality. Our prime location on the Rainy River gives you access to excellent fishing, breathtaking views, and hours of relaxation. The open water of legendary Lake of the Woods is just a short boat ride away, this world class fishery boasts some of the best fishing in the country.
Enjoy the best dinner and views at Miles Lab Bar & Grill in our spacious dining room or burgers on the patio, the choice is yours. All cabins and grounds are pet friendly. We offer charter fishing packages with a US Coast Guard certified captain, we also have amble dock space available if you plan to bring your own boat.
Charter Fishing & Guide Services - SHOW UP AND FISH!
Our charter experience differs significantly from the typical boat experience on smaller lakes in Minnesota. Opting for a larger boat charter on Lake of the Woods provides anglers with the opportunity to explore the vast expanse of the lake comfortably, reaching distant fishing spots that may be impractical with smaller vessels.
Our US Coast Guard-certified captains are great guides who know the hot spots, and our charter boats come equipped with advanced navigation and fish-finding technology, enhancing the overall fishing experience. In contrast, smaller lakes typically necessitate smaller boats, limiting the range of exploration.
While smaller lakes may offer a more intimate and peaceful setting, the larger boat charter on Lake of the Woods opens up possibilities for a more extensive and diverse fishing adventure.
Enjoy nightly comfort in one of our well-appointed cabins at our resort. Each has a full kitchen, with all linens and everything you need provided for your convenience.
All cabins are within walking distance of our Miles Lab Bar & Grill, where we serve the best food and drinks anywhere to be found up on the point.
Looking for a more adventurous overnight fishing experience in the winter? Enjoy “Lake Camping” in a sleeper ice fishing house.
Our Sleeper houses are spacious and comfortable, can accommodate up to 6, and are always preheated with two pre-drilled holes per person. We also have a new bath house located on our resort property to freshen up.

Our guides will try their hardest to spend a little extra time when stopping by to check in on your group and offer whatever you need for tips and training… But it’s best if we know in advance so we can plan for it!
