About
The 2025 Handmade Neighborhood market has expanded! It features over two dozen different artisans. Their “pop-up shops” will be throughout the History Center in the Slaggie Family Lobby, Wanek Hall, Briarcombe Room, and the spaces in between. Shoppers can grab a map at the entrance or the information desk.
Handmade Neighborhood features a juried selection of quality, unique, handmade items by area artisans. Artists set up with a boutique-quality vibe throughout the History Center. Shop a wide variety of handmade jewelry, pottery, woodwork, clothing, knits, glassware, bath products, fine art, tasty treats, and much more!

Handmade Neighborhood was established in 2009 by a group of Winona-area artisans with a mission to support local artists and to provide the community with an opportunity to purchase quality, original, locally produced, handmade goods at reasonable prices. The Winona County Historical Society became the steward of the event in 2020 to foster the time honored traditions of handmade work, cultural crafts, and artistry.
The Museum Shop is also open during the Handmade Neighborhood Market and museum admission is free November 22 too. Find more at winonahistory.org and on social media @winonacountyhistory.
