About
Explore the historic photographic process of cyanotypes! This vibrant technique uses the power of the sun to expose detailed prints on surfaces. Students will first be introduced to the method of cyanotype by creating 3 small canvas patches. This will allow for experimentation with exposure times, composition, and objects to print with. These handmade patches can be taken home to use on another project later. Students will then complete their final cyanotype print on a 11.5" x 10.5" canvas banner. A variety of rawhide lace colors will be provided for hanging. Instructed by Janae Alyse of Twin Cities Tradeswoman.
