About
Community theatres and theatre enthusiasts from around the state will gather at the historic Duluth Depot in Duluth, Minnesota, for MACT*Fest 2025, what promises to be “A Superior Experience.” The 27th biennial theatre festival will begin on Friday, March 7 and last through Sunday, March 9. The Depot is located at 506 West Michigan Street in Duluth.
MACT*Fest audiences will enjoy a wide variety of short plays and have the opportunity to attend theatre workshops on topics of interest to actors, directors, technical crews and all fans of community theatre. There will also be social gatherings and opportunities for networking. Audience members may attend part of the festival or may purchase discounted ticket packages to see all of the shows, and to attend the workshops and the social gatherings.
Minnesota Association of Community Theatres (MACT), sponsor of MACT*Fest, has been supporting Minnesota community theatre for more than 50 years. County Seat Theater Company of Cloquet is the host theatre.
