Beginning in 2026, MMAM will stay open late every third Thursday. With $5 gallery admission after 5pm, a different programming highlight each month, and Happier Hour at MMAM’s new Waterbar Cafe + Provisions, this will become your new favorite night of the month. Explore, eat, shop, play, and be inspired.

This February, MMAM will be screening the film Moby Dick (1965) in the A Spectacle in Motion gallery. GENRE: Action/Adventure

Catch the Sony Pictures classic, Moby Dick, screened inside the museum’s A Spectacle In Motion exhibition space, for a memorable night of high seas adventure. In this film directed and produced by John Huston, from Herman Melville’s 1851 novel Moby-Dick, Capt. Ahab (Gregory Peck) has a vendetta against Moby Dick, the great white whale responsible for taking his leg. He sets out on a treacherous sea voyage aboard The Pequod, along with a crew including Starbuck (Leo Genn), Father Mapple (James Robertson Justice) and Ishmael (Richard Basehart), to hunt down the elusive beast. With reckless abandon, Ahab leads the crew on his obsessive and suicidal quest, anxious for a final showdown with the legendary white whale.
