Wilderness Weekends with Emily: Signs of Spring Walk

Join us for a walk around Lake Winona to look for signs of spring on April 19th from 9:30-11:30. We will meet next to the Lake Lodge and then head out on a morning stroll! All ages are welcome as this is such a nice way to start your weekend as a family and welcome the season of Spring. Wilderness Weekends, led by Emily Gorman, is an environmental education program offering an immersive experience to explore the ecosystems and ecological treasures of Winona County. Vine to Wine Tours

Embark on a behind-the-scenes journey through the art and craft of winemaking at Schram Vineyards.

Led by one of our wine professionals and tour guide, this wine-centric journey will guide guests through the history of this award-winning winery and introduce them to our expansive wine portfolio, sampling various existing and in-process wines throughout the entire tour while discovering what it takes to make it – from the Vine to Wine. Guests will explore the vineyard, wine processing facility and barrel room.

Unwind Friday with H30 Jazz Trio

Take a breath and relax to the smooth jazz sounds of H3O Jazz Trio at Blooming Grounds Coffee House. Enjoy live music and taste the homemade baked goods, fantastic wraps and paninis. Small plates and beverages offered in the evenings.

Turtle Town Art Fair

9am to 3pm, the Turtle Town Art Fair is held on the grounds of Salam Lutheran Church, rain or shine. Don't miss the Turtle Town Art Fair, a beloved 20-year tradition that brings together over 50 booths of handcrafted treasures from talented local artists. Explore a vibrant marketplace filled with cottage foods, home textiles, bath/body products, and more. Enjoy delicious bites at the food court, live music, and free art kits for kids, making this a fun-filled event for the whole family. This event is sponsored by the Longville Women of Today.

Sweetheart Days 2025

Sweetheart Days 2025 will be Wednesday July 9 through Tuesday July 15, 2025 in downtown Hackensack. Activities planned are Fireworks, Dachshund Derby, Cornhole Tournament, Craft Fair, Furry 5K Fun Run/Walk and more.

Shawn Mullins

After a series of indie releases and growing buzz in the Atlanta music scene, Shawn Mullins broke through in 1998. Then, album Soul’s Core shot him to critical and commercial acclaim on the strength of Grammy-nominated Number One hit, “Lullaby”. For the twentieth anniversary of his breakthrough album, Shawn revisited the music of Soul's Core. Here, he recorded two new versions of the album. He calls this Soul's Core Revival.

Pat Donohue & Prairie All-Stars

From swing to jazz to bottleneck blues to folk, Grammy-winning acoustic guitarist Pat Donohue plays it all. He does this with a flourish of artistry and melodic inspiration. Chet Atkins called Pat one of the greatest finger pickers in the world today; Leo Kottke called his playing “haunting.”

Nellie McKay - Album Release

Nellie McKay is releasing Gee Whiz: The Get Away From Me Demos, in May 2025. This eighteen-track collection of rare recordings led to McKay's groundbreaking debut album, 2004's Get Away From Me. Composed, performed and produced by Nellie, these revelatory demos were recorded in 2002 and sol by McKay as a series of handmade CD-R's. The new demo collection has been sequenced identically to Get Away From Me, with three unreleased bonus songs.
