Camden State Park Candlelight Hike

Come enjoy a magical winter night under the moon and stars at Camden State Park. Let the glow of hundreds of luminaries guide you on a 1-mile snow covered path through the trees. Then stop by the North Picnic Shelter to grab a cup of hot cocoa and a cookie while soaking up the warmth of a crackling campfire. Free-will donations go to support the Friends of Camden group.

Dressing in layers and sturdy boots is recommended. If snow conditions allow, bring your snowshoes. A limited number of snowshoes will be available for rent at the park office.

Hotel 44° North

At Hotel 44° North, every detail reflects a story of renewal and purpose. What was once an idea has transformed into Winona’s newest luxury boutique hotel—a place where comfort, style, and authenticity meet. With 76 rooms and 24 suites featuring kitchenettes, our vision was clear from the start: to create more than just a place to stay. We designed a retreat that blends modern elegance with the natural beauty of the Mississippi River and a historic downtown. Much like the city we call home, our hotel embraces both tradition and transformation.
