Moose Lake is an exceptionally clean 1150 acre lake with very little traffic and lots of action. It has an outstanding reputation as a top walleye and musky lake with northerns, small mouth bass and jumbo perch. 12 spacious lake level & lakeside cabins on 40 acres of land with 1200 feet of lakeshore. Cabins are within 20' of the lake. Very sandy with an exceptionally nice swimming beach. Large playground, and cement basketball court.

Established in 1969, the Moose Lake Area Historical Society has evolved to become a leader and contributor to events and activities of the community. The mission of the Moose Lake Area Historical Society is to study, research, preserve and promote the history of Moose Lake, Minnesota and its surrounding areas. We maintain and support the Fires of 1918 Museum which includes changing historical exhibits along with permanent artifacts and memorabilia. The museum is located in the Moose Lake Depot, formally the Soo Line Railroad Depot, built in 1907.

Located just outside the Bowstring State Forest, managed by Schoolcraft State Park. The 11 campsites are considered "primitive," designed to furnish only the basic needs of the camper. The campsites consist of a cleared area, a fire ring, and a table. Pets are allowed in the campsites but all animals shall be personally attended at all times
and shall be effectively restrained by a portable enclosure or by a leash not
exceeding six feet in length, and the animals shall not disrupt other persons
or deprive them from using an area.
