Just a few of the wildlife to watch are bald eagles, double-crested cormorants, great blue herons, and American black ducks. Mammals include mink, deer, moose, and black bears. It is highly encouraged that this area be experienced by boat or canoe. Access can be gained by water on Rainy Lake.
