Swift County Fair

The Swift County Fair is held in the middle of August at the fairgrounds in Appleton, Minnesota. With plenty of rides in the Midway and FREE entertainment and beer gardens in the Chuck Brown Building and the grandstand hosting two demolition derbies on Friday and Saturday evening there is something for everyone! With so much going on you’ll want to reserve your camping spot today. Bring the kids for fun and enjoy the company of your neighbors and friends.

Log Run Half Marathon/10 Mile/10K/5K

The Log Run Half
Marathon, 10 mile, 10K and 5K is a superb, mostly downhill race with a gentle
decent ending in downtown Stillwater, Minnesota. It's been known as one of the
fastest 10-mile courses around. Participants come back year-after-year for this
one and it's easy to see why; it's THE course for personal records. Join us and

St. Patrick's Day Celebration- Landmark Center

Celebrate all things Irish with activities for the whole family!

Irish Arts Minnesota (IAM), in partnership with Landmark Center, proudly hosts its annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration on Tuesday, March 17, 2025! This event features local and regional music on four different stages, traditional Irish dancing from local dance schools and adult performance groups, an Irish Marketplace with authentic Irish merchants, artisans, and informational resources, and traditional Irish and American food and drinks. Children’s craft activities are offered free of charge.

St. Croix Crossing Half Marathon

The St. Croix Crossing Half Marathon starts in western
Wisconsin and ends in downtown Stillwater, Minnesota. This diverse course
includes scenic tree-lined roads, picturesque farms, the beautiful Loop Trail
between Minnesota and Wisconsin and crosses the St. Croix Crossing bridge. Runners
love this fully paved course finishing at the historic Stillwater Lift Bridge
in downtown Stillwater. The St. Croix Crossing Half Marathon is soon to be a classic
event.

St Cloud Craft Beer & Ciderfest

The St. Cloud Craft Beer & Ciderfest was created to appeal to the other side of craft fans - those who love hard cider and other beer alternatives. That's not to say there aren't some traditional breweries involved; we're all about inclusivity and celebrating the craft community as a whole! Spend a day in the sunshine basking in apple goodness and sample local and national craft beverages from a wide range of brands.

Spoon Gathering

Sitting in the sun on the spacious front porch of a 1915 school house meticulously restored in the traditional Norwegian style, or sitting outside in the evening around a roaring fire – always among friends. That is one way to describe the annual gathering of the spoon carvers each June in Milan.
