Maple Fest

The Arboretum is home to 18 species of maple trees including the four most commonly tapped for their sap; sugar maple, silver maple, red maple and boxelder. Sugar maple is considered the best tree to tap because it generally has the highest sugar content. In honor of these amazing trees, the Arboretum is celebrating Maple Fest! Luck o' the Lake 5K and 1 Mile Run

Whether you’re racing the 5K, walking the 1-mile, or choosing the Lazy Leprechaun for beer, donuts, and good cheer, Luck O’ the Lake is for you. This St. Patrick’s Day-themed event is all about fun, community, and supporting local.

You don’t have to be a runner. You just have to show up.

Luciadagen

Welcome the Jul season with the celebration of Lucia. Follow the candlelit pathway to the GammelKyrkan for a brief Swedish prayer service including a reading, message, and songs. (Dress warmly - the church dates back to 1856 and has no heat.) Afterward, join us in the Valkommen Hus for coffee and Lucia Buns served by Lucia. 

Gammelgarden's large exhibit of Lucia artifacts will be on display during the month of December for your enjoyment in our Passage Room of the Valkommen Hus. Lucia Dagen is a family tradition for all ages. 

Little Canada Canadian Days

Canadian Days is a community festival in Little Canada. It is organized by an all-volunteer committee. The 2026 festival will include:

Lift Bridge Road Race 10 Mile/10K/5K

NEW in 2025 – a half
marathon distance! The Lift Bridge Road Race is based at Lift Bridge Brewing
Company in Stillwater – the event’s title sponsor. The half, 10-mile, 10K and
5K courses show off the best of residential Stillwater, its scenic lakes, paved
trails and historic Victorian mansions. All distances share a common finish at
the brewery’s Tower Drive location. The finish is a festive atmosphere at the
brewery to celebrate together.

Lakeville Art Festival

Premium art fair in historic downtown Lakeville. The park-like grounds allow the unique use of a circular type arrangement of artist booths, providing an intimate and accessible setting. This event includes a featured artist exhibit, artist demonstrations, Youth Art Tent, performing and literary artists, great food and wonderful community camaraderie.

Lakes Jam Music Festival

Lakes Jam at Brainerd International Raceway is an annual event that unites rock and country music fans from all walks of life and brings them to the beautiful Brainerd Lakes Area. Located in lakes country, the area boasts beautiful scenery and allows Lakes Jam to offer optimal camping and weekend fun. Founded in 2012, Lakes Jam intends to deliver a line-up from an array of excellent live-performing artists every year. Each year will be different, fresh and exciting! This year's line up is sure to excite all music fans!

Lakefront Music Fest

Originally known as the Lakefront Jazz & Blues Festival, the Prior Lake Rotary Club’s Lakefront Music Fest was established in 2010 and has grown into one of the largest outdoor music festivals in the metro area of the Twin Cities. In 2012, the Rotary Club expanded the festival to two nights of music: one night devoted to country; the other to classic rock. Since then, the Lakefront Music Fest has seen its popularity and attendance steadily increase each year. Last year, more than 20,000 attended the two-day Fest.
