4th of July Festivities - Tofte

The Fourth of July — a time for swimming in the lake, rock skipping, shopping, agate hunting, donuts, long hikes, canoe trips, fudge, fireworks, and time with your family. It’s the true kick-off for summer here in the north woods and we’d love to have you join us! Take the weekend (or the whole week) to get away from the bustle of the city and enjoy what summer on the shore has to offer. Many who visit our neck of the woods end up coming back time and time again because they just cannot fit all of the fun to be had in to only one visit.

Warroad 4th of July Festival

July 3rd starts with food trucks open, Roosevelt's Flea Market, a sidewalk sale in downtown Warroad, ARC's open house, an all-school reunion, community Bingo, and a Boat parade. There's a DJ At Breaker's Bar.

Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade & Celebration in Crosslake

For 52 years, Crosslake has been celebrating the coming of Spring with a St Patrick’s Day Parade. What started out in the 70’s as a remedy for Cabin Fever, has grown into a destination event for thousands of green-clad, Irish-for-a-day, weekend enthusiasts. Some build a float and travel the 1.5 mile long route handing out hundreds of pounds of candy and trinkets, and others set up lawn chairs, days in advance to get ”their perfect spot” for family and friends.

For this year's theme, we're going to Paint The Town Green!

This annual 4-day event turns the Minneapolis Convention Center into a one-stop marketplace for outdoor fun - the best place to see and buy everything you need for your outdoor adventures! For 24 years we've been celebrating WinterFest in Crosslake with good old-fashioned winter fun for the entire family! Three days of indoor and outdoor activities throughout Crosslake for all ages to enjoy!

Whether you’re chasing clues in the Lost Medallion Treasure Hunt, testing your trivia knowledge, sledding down a snowy hill, enjoying horse-drawn wagon rides, or warming up with SoupFest samples, there’s something for everyone.

The Polar Plunge is back in Spicer for the 21st year in a row! The Willmar/Spicer Plunge has raised over $1,107,987 in its 19-year history. In 2024, 286 Plungers raised $76,247!!
