Henderson's founder, Joseph R. Brown set aside land for a public park in 1855. The park provides 18 developed campsites with electrical hookups, all of those with water, a picnic shelter with rest rooms and shower facilities, play ground equipment and walking trail. From the park, an excellent view of the city and the Minnesota River Valley can be enjoyed.
Our gallery has 4 to 6 exhibitions per year, as well as additional events. We feature the work of contemporary Native American artists from around the country, providing a rich cultural space for Natives to exhibit, and promoting cultural awareness of American Indian arts and history. We are located in the heart of the American Indian Cultural Corridor on Franklin Avenue and are situated right next to the PowWow Grounds Coffee shop.

Located in downtown Alexandria, the Andria Theatre produces and presents five main stage productions annually, three main stage student productions and theater camps, and five improvisation shows. In addition the theatre is host to musical performances of local, regional and national artists. Visual Arts are promoted through its annual Art In The Park Festival fundraiser every July.
