DanceCo is a professional performance company creating original dance narratives for young audiences and their families. Artistic Director Matthew Keefe and Associate Artistic Director Brittany Keefe bring together local professional dancers and musicians for a yearly production. DanceCo is organized as a project-based fiscally sponsored organization through Springboard for the Arts and Fractured Atlas.

Dakota Valley Symphony and Chorus
The symphony is comprised of a 60-member symphony orchestra, a 40-member mixed chorus and a 90-member Summer Pops orchestra and chorus, all under the direction of founder and music director Stephen J. Ramsey.
Dakota Rail Regional Trail
Approved uses for the trail include walking/hiking, biking, running, dog walking (on 6' leash) inline skating and roller skiing. Cross traffic DOES NOT STOP at trail intersections. Trail users must obey all signage, stopping at each trail/road intersection. Snowmobiling is not permitted on trail.
Dakota County Historical Society/Lawshe Memorial
Museum features permanent and changing exhibits on county history; a research center; and educational programs for people of any age interested in local history.

Dakota City Heritage Village
A 1900 agricultural village and museum; twenty-two buildings including Blacksmith Shop, Newspaper Office, Drugstore, Schoolhouse, Farm House, and Church. Live interpreters and demonstrations during scheduled living history events. Group tours, Senior Citizen tours, Scout tours, Red Hats Ladies Luncheon Tea Tour, family tours, birthday parties and other special programs by appointment, call or email the office at least 5 days ahead of time to schedule.
