Hip-hop meets indie funk in this powerhouse double bill. Desdamona is one of Minnesota’s most influential spoken word artists and emcees. The Orange Goodness blends raw energy, tight rhythms, and indie-pop color for a sound that's all their own.
8:00 p.m. | Tone Loc
Artist and Author Art Norby began writing the Tall Hall Mysteries in 1989. In each of his 9 novels, he has made some connection to the Montevideo and Chippewa County areas. this tour will bring you to many local areas from our history. Locations included: Carlton Lake, the Canning Factory, Swift's, the Lac qui Parle Dam, and many other areas around the Chippewa and Minnesota Rivers.

Big Band music is alive and well in Grand Marais! The fabulous North Shore Swing Band plays every third Thursday of the month at Up Yonder on 61 in Grand Marais, from 7-9 pm. This very fine big band features vocalists Carah Thomas and Ben Nichols, along with many excellent instrumental soloists.
Up Yonder on 61 is the hottest hot spot in Grand Marais, with a great dance floor, and house sound and lights. Open daily with food service 'till 10 pm.
