Twin Cities Veg Fest

The festival returns to Harriet Island Park on September 17, 2023 from 10am to 4pm.

This year’s theme is Healing People, Animals, and the Planet.

 Join us for plant-based food, music, games, giveaways, cooking demos, speakers and a Let’s Beat Breast Cancer rally.

Admission is free and all are welcome!

See Minnesota and the historic Twin Cities beauty aboard a luxury air-conditioned coach. Let Gray Line’s over 100 years of sightseeing experience take you through the cities oldest, most exclusive neighborhoods to discover why Minneapolis is called the “City of Lakes.” Learn about Historic Fort Snelling and the beautiful Landmark Center in St. Paul before passing the Capitol and St. Paul Cathedral. We will also take a drive down historic Summit Avenue in Saint Paul to see where the lumber and railroad barons, who built the city, once lived in their stately Victorian Mansions.

The Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament is more than just a game, it's a full on celebration of teamwork, community spirit, and hometown pride. Open to players ages 8 and up and welcoming all skill levels, this event is your chance to for your own 3-on-3 team and hit the courts for a weekend of high-energy hoops, music, food, and fun.

True Crime Walking Tour

Back by popular demand! The True Crime Tour will take you on a stroll of the brutally beaten path. Guests will enjoy a wicked fun look into past crimes of murder, robbery, and mayhem in the city of Mendota and its surrounding communities. The walking tour also includes a visit of the 1921 Mendota jail!

This tour is not intended for children as it includes mature language and themes. Most tours are in the evening while dark on relatively smooth sidewalk. Check-in for the tour is at the Dupuis House located at the Sibley Historic Site (the red brick building that faces Hwy 13).
