Divas Throughout the Decades
A musical tribute to some of the most influential female vocalists in American pop music, featuring songs from the 40’s, through today’s current hits! The show features music made famous by various Divas including Tina Turner, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Celine Dion, Aretha Franklin, Gloria Estefan, Madonna, Beyonce, Shania Twain, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and many more!
Detroit Lakes Parade of Lights
Lighted floats will get you in the spirit of the holidays as they travel through downtown Detroit Lakes. There will be a tree lighting by the Library at 5pm and then the parade begins. Announcers will tell you about each business/float and participants will walk along the floats handing out candy and other goodies. A fun way to kick off the holiday season!
Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) Block Party Celebration

The Day of the Dead, or Día de los Muertos, is a rich cultural celebration honoring deceased loved ones. This event, primarily observed in Mexico and parts of Central America, blends Indigenous traditions with elements of Catholicism. Participating in this celebration involves several meaningful activities.

A veteran performer and an extremely funny guy, C. Willi Myles has the gift of connecting people with each other through humor and storytelling that everyone can relate to. After surviving his childhood growing up with nine sisters and one brother in Alabama, Willi moved to Minnesota to attend college and play football. With his stories about growing up in the south and acclimating to the cold of Minnesota, Willi tells extremely funny non-offensive stories and jokes and gives a unique spin to life’s everyday challenges by applying humor to them.
Boys & Girls Club of Central MN Showcase

The showcase will include an exhibit on display throughout May, culminating in a reception and live showcase at the Paramount on May 14th.
