Pottery Museum of Red Wing

Dozens of displays highlight both the common and rare examples of products produced in Red Wing pottery factories, including stoneware, art pottery, and dinnerware. Several exhibits feature artifacts used daily in the production of various clay products. Displays of finished products demonstrate the wide range of items produced by the Red Wing pottery industry including hand decorated, salt glazed stoneware of the highest quality, molded zinc stoneware, advertising ware, art pottery, and dinnerware.

He Mni Can-Barn Bluff

This is a hike you’ll want to take at a slow pace due to its steady climb. Even with the elevation gain and several sets of steps, this hike is worth the effort needed to reach the top of the 340-foot bluff. The cliff showcases a spectacular view of the Mississippi River on one side and Red Wing on the other.

Broken Paddle Guiding Company

Rare migratory birds, deep forest canopy, riotous and unique flora and fauna await your eyes and your adventurous spirits.

Billings - Tomfohr Conservation Area

Enjoy natural prairie habitat and hiking trails at Billings-Tomfohr Conservation Area, also known locally as Coon Hill. The 93-acre area rises 200 feet from the valley floor and is located behind Twin Bluff Middle School. Trails can be accessed from Neal Street or Sumac Street.
