Join us October 12, 2024 from 10-5 for the first annual, "Shop, Swap & Snack" at the Proctor Fairgrounds in Proctor MN. This all new event features 100+ local makers and vendors to help you get a leg up on that Christmas list, over a dozen food trucks featuring some of the northlands best mobile food options, and a tack swap to help cowboys and cowgirls find new homes for some of their tack. Take advantage of the free parking by getting there early and making a whole day of it!
Fairmont Triathlon Sprint, 5K Bacon Fun Run/Walk, & Kids Triathlon
The Fairmont Triathlon offers an exciting challenge in the heart of southern Minnesota, set against the backdrop of Fairmont’s chain of five lakes. Compete in the triathlon sprint as an individual or a team, participate in the 5k Bacon Fun Run/Walk, or bring your kids on Friday for the youth triathlon. Bicycling Around Minnesota 4-Day Ride
By popular demand, the 2024 Bicycling Around Minnesota (BAM) 4-day tour will return to northeastern Minnesota’s scenic Iron Range – an area rich in mining history with its scenic vistas, vast red pits of old iron ore mines now filled with emerald green water, friendly communities, rugged north woods scenery, lakes and rivers, and the undulating Mesabi Trail, a premier bicycle trail winding through some of the most scenic parts of the state.

2D Con is an annual gathering that celebrates the world of gaming. Hosted by a dedicated team of volunteers 2D Con welcomes gamers from all walks of life to come together for a weekend of fun. We focus on people and their passions all while raising money for charity. The event features consoles, arcades, tabletop, LAN, vendors, artists guest speakers, and much much more. We’re more than just a convention, we’re a community.
Rock, Roll, and Stroll
Do you enjoy checking out antique cars? Come stroll down Main Street of Pierz the first Thursday of the month beginning June - September to enjoy older or modern cars from owners around Morrision County. There is voting for favorite cars, pop up vendors, and local stores to stop in for amazing deals.
Pierz Oktoberfest
The festives begin at 11 a.m. with a city wide parade going throughout town. After the parade the fun continues down at the Pierz Golf Course with foods, drinks, a petting zoo, games, free bounce houses, face painting, and more!
