Waffle Bar

Bubble waffles originated in Hong Kong and made its way to the Chinatowns of America. We've traveled from coast to coast and discovered this plain waffle on the side streets of Boston, Chinatown. We decided to create something fun and bring it to Minnesota. So in 2018, we opened our first shop after creating a bubble waffle recipe to perfect pair with ice cream and all the favorite toppings one can dream of.

​​Mom & Pop's is not a franchise, it was opened on December 27th in 2012 by Erin and Tammey Gatchell. In December of 2018 Mom & Pop's was purchased by Casey and Shawn Neitzel. ​We pride ourselves on our clean, welcoming 'mom and pop shop' and welcome you and your family!

Loubelle's offers 16 flavors of Chocolate Shoppe Brand ice cream, waffle cones, & desserts. A variety of Sandwiches, including Paninis, served with soup or chips and more!

We are open year-round, with indoor seating available.

Scoops is your local ice cream shop serving premium quality ice cream and specialty hot dogs since 2004.

We also rent bicycles & kayaks for those looking to explore the surrounding lakes, woods, parks, and farmland via the Sakatah Singing Hills State Trial. We are located right on the trial, and provide a perfect starting point, or stop along the way!
