Join Anoka for its 28th annual fireworks display as we celebrate Independence Day and America's 250th anniversary! Spectacular fireworks will light up the night sky at 10 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026 at Castle Field (600 Castle Field Blvd/7th Ave.).

We are kicking off festivities in advance of the Fourth of July, with this special event that will bring together community, history, and patriotism through meaningful activities and moments of reflection.

Opening

• 6:00pm: Welcome from Mayor Skogquist
• 6:10pm: National Anthem lead by the Sons of the American Revolution
• 6:15pm: Shane Martin Rockin' on the Rum until 9 p.m.

• Color Guard with Fife & Drum
• Re-enactors/Historical Costumes

Farmers Market on the Rum (3-7pm)

Up to 20 local farmers and vendors will be selling a wide variety of fresh produce, baked goods, plants, non-food items, and much more.

Crafters & Artisans (3-7pm)

A variety of crafters and artisans will be selling their goods.
