A new breed is joining the action at Canterbury Park. For the first time ever, Beagles will take to the track in their own exciting race, bringing plenty of energy, personality, and friendly competition to the day. Known for their playful spirit and quick pace, these lovable pups are sure to win over the crowd as they race between live horse races in this brand-new event.
The fan-favorite Canterbury Park Dog Races are back! Watch a variety of breeds sprint down the track in friendly competition, all chasing a spot in the Best in Show Championship on Labor Day Weekend (Sunday, Sept. 6). Winners from each race day advance toward the crown. Dog races run between live horse races, keeping the action going all afternoon.
Every Dog Day Sunday is also Pepsi Family Day—featuring face painting, pony rides, the arcade, and more. Face painting and pony rides available for $5 each.
