About
Celebrate Valentine's Day with a walk through the heart of Forestville / Mystery Cave State Park. This self-guided candlelight hike follows a 1.5-mile trail passing through Historic Forestville and winding along a river and quiet winter woods. Along the way, pause to look up. Far from city lights, the park's dark skies reveal the Milky Way and a sky full of stars. Telescopes will be available to help you explore the night sky and experience the park after dark. Start the hike at the picnic shelter and warm up there later with hot chocolate and cookies. The hike is free, but a state park vehicle permit is required to enter the park.
